Here are some general updates.

I got a Wii. After searching for the past 2-3 months, I finally got ahold of one. It rules. So far, my roommate has gotten addicted to Zelda. I’ve totally gotten into the sports and other games as well. MJ was totally awesome and scored Rayman Raving Rabbids for me on Valentine’s Day, which unexpectedly rules. It’s probably the best party game for the system yet, even out-doing Wario Ware Smooth Moves!

I’ve been leveling up in WOW on Laughing Skull lately…. so far I’ve gotten my Gnome Mage up to almost 67 on Laughing Skull. I’m hoping to get rolling on getting Keyed and doing raids with the Ascendence guild which a couple other local folks play on.

The band is going through some changes. Owen is not playing with us anymore, but that was going to happen in August anyways. So Bobby and I took a trip to PHX yesterday to pick up BrOwen’s drumset. I scored an ANP Quarterly for free @ Stinkweeds and staved off purchasing any music once again. Tonight is first real practice with BrOwen on drums. We’ll see how it goes….

Ooh, and today I pick up my bike wheel from the shop. I finally took the thing in to get the spokes fixed and wheel aligned. Yus!

I am thoroughly confused as to why a manufacturer of game consoles has to under-feed the market that they know is there. I don’t remember this happening when the original Nintendo came out, nor do I remember it happening when the SuperNintendo, N46, or Game Cube came out. Why you gotta do this now?

As far as things in my life, I’ve been busy, as always. I sold my Firebird and finally paid off CC bills from my trip in December. *whew* What a relief. I hate the idea of having CC bills to great extent. I had some$ left over, so instead of saving it, I blew it on a DS Lite. Sweet. I am stoked. For anyone interested, here are some friends codes:

I also got New Super Mario Brothers. I must say, Nintendo definitely has the uncanny ability to turn a 28yo dude back onto gaming after an 8 year hiatus. So, if we’re going to be talking about games. I’m also playing WOW some. I’ve recently been playing an Alliance character on the Laughing Skull server since all my old College buddies play there. Blizzard is letting existing members give out free 10-day trials to help get more people addicted to their MMORPG. Holler if you’re interested.

Also, Zoë and I are having a “divorce party” tonight at Pete’s house. We’ve been broken up for like 3 months now, and initially had a fake wedding ceremony, so we’ll get it memorialized with a divorce ceremony performed by Pete, the dude who “hitched us.” Should be interesting as there’s a Yachting theme to commemerate our love and mourning for Yacht Rock. Goodbye Koko, we’ll miss you. ::cry::
