Yellow Bikes @ NAU

Chill new program on campus… yellowbikes Monday they launched the first 50 bikes, which is pretty cool indeed. I should head down there to see if I can help out with prepping bikes as I hear they have about 150 more on the way. Read a chill article about it here.

In other news, I finally got back on the rollers last night. My knee has been pretty strained from wrecking last week, but it’s recovering nicely… and I got to do like 10mi.

I can’t wait for Fat Tire Fest this weekend! I should dress up or something. I ran into my old roomie Audra last night and she mentioned something about doing just that.

Oh, since I’m laying it on nice and thick in the bike world lately, I’ve been getting emails ’bout my bike via it’s posting on fixedgeargallery.com ranging from praise:

That’s a hot looking ride. Love the pink wheels, and hubs.
Thanks for rolling on Velocity USA

Your bike is a Miami Beach nightmare! But you already knew that.
Thanks for the nod. I will gladly send you a sticker if you promise to put it on that bike.
Have fun and enjoy the new ride,

Critiquing the entire culture of cycling one ill-conceived bike at a time.

Hilariously awesome indeed.
