in life and work.
So the past 4 days I went to (not so) sunny Pasadena Ca. for a “TechEd” Conference.
It was fun. I went with Johofonow, my co worker. We had our own hotel rooms. I ate alot of sushi. I had tepenaki dinner with Matthew Lillard and his family. One rad part was that a keynote speaker was David Cavallo, who not only leads the One Laptop Per Child
program, but also looks and talks like a straight mix between David Duchovny and Woody Allen
. The dude was very inspirational.
I think a 40-something teacher hit on me a little bit at one point. Weird. Also, I am happy to have gotten to hang with Jason… finally! We bro-ed down and drank heavily with his fellow bro. I also bought some jeans. The end!
Seriously, working on the robothouse site hasn’t left me much time to blog, let alone do alot of other things. I am making good progress though, and hopefully the site will be awesome.
In other news, Zoe and I are broken up, if you haven’t read it already. We’re going to be moving out, but I’d like to keep the townhouse, as she wants to live in a studio. I’m currently looking for roomates, hopefully a steady couple. Here’s some info for your and my own reference:
