Like woah, this weekend was hella FUN. I did a bunch of flyering for the grand opening, somehow got drunk and fed for free for the past 4 or 5 days, partied, saw Joe Meyers play and was Marty get arrested. Bunk deal for Marty, but he is the best dude of all time. His life is akin to that of a music video, perhaps Kanye West’s Jesus Walks video? Yeah, Slumber Party on Wednesday or Thursday, whee! :) I’m working on a Sunday from 2-6, then flyering with Logan!

Things have been good and stressful lately.

The 111 venue is coming along great, but I see alot of turbulence in the next few days as we try to get a month’s worth of work done in 2 days. I’m stoked to see how it comes out.

I’m tired of people who look good. I don’t need shiny faces, off center looks, pointy boots, skinny bodies, hip looks, great ideas, etc… I make no sense and get drunk off of 4 beers since I’m eating like crap lately. Someone just sleep next to me to make me feel better.

So, howdy there Blog. How are you today? I’ve been busy. I got the flagstaffyouthproject.org website up and rolling with a functional calendar. I’ve been putting alot of time into Case’s website and hope we can have a GOOD functional demo by next week.

I’ve also been doing alot of planning and talking with people about the Studio 111 venue, which is coming along sweetly. Hopefully posters will be done on monday. I had previously thought they would be done today, but the proofs came out wrong, partially due to my stupidness with Adobe InDesign, but hey, at least I’m learning how do dive into the vector based print world! I’ve been taking my laptop to work lately so that I can get more work done, which is working out quite nicely.

Rachel has been SUPER FUCKING AWESOME with the art show stuff, she already has decorations finished, so I hear. Marty and Rey Luv and all the DJs are stoked to spin at the art show. Hot. Bruce Zinky is throwing down the awesomeness gauntlet with his incredible efforts at helping out with live sound. We have practically everything for a house PA, with the exception of a good PA snake. If anyone has a lead on it, do let me know. Hopefully we can raise some money at the opening weekend to get things rolling along nicely! I’m so excited and amped on coffee, that if I hadn’t had eaten some lunch, I would pee my pants.

I am stoked. I did my first back bend in Yoga on wednesday. I didn’t know my body could accomplish that kinda stuff. I also had my last undergraduate class ever on Wednesday. I gave a speech on Shepard Faireyfor my final and it went over awesomely. The entire class was stoked to hear about a live artist that is doing something interesting. (Most of the class did their speeches about dead artists.) I finally got to use the bluetooth cellphone to control the power point presentation, hella tech, yo.

I am also not stoked. Shows are becoming more of a hassle as everyone is testy, and attendance seems to be dwindling. I want stuff to go well, but certain circumstances are making things more difficult. For example, a certain person has officially stolen my PA cabinets. I have one of 3 options. Call the police and file a report. Sent a posse to Lake Havasu to get them back Desperado style. Or do nothing. Looks like it’s going to be option one, dudes. I just hope this person understands he’s not just fucking with me, but a large number of people. He seems to be delusional and uses the word “respeccc.” Hell, I should have seen it coming when he can’t even spell respect correctly. I have been more than cool about the situation as I lent my personal property out for one night for a show in Flagstaff. Somehow he thinks that equates to not returing them the next day like he promised and taking off out of town, then borrowing them for over a month and a half, taking them to Lake Havasu, not returing my phone messages, and then telling me to “fuck off” when I demand them back. Hopefully what goes around comes around for this guy as he certainly deserves it.

Hopefully the JETOMI show goes well tonight. I wasn’t stoked to just find out about a party that a certain someone’s putting together around the block that’ll pretty much divert half the crowd away from the show. Way to go buddy. Yeah, I’ll show up tonight, after 1am. Durrr… Brant Bjork is awesome though.
